Silvy is the brainchild of Will Steiner and Ben Fredrickson.

This duo started their first partnership back in 2019 with the creation of a passion project called Big Later, which sold to Altruist in 2022.

There are a million people selling marketing services to financial advisors.

And somehow there’s still so much bad, undifferentiated marketing. Fancy that!

Good marketing is hard (and not because of compliance). It requires developing a sound strategy, pursuing that strategy, and then wrestling the work into submission as the market responds and the tooling evolves. This industry has its faults, but it also has some amazing people doing incredibly valuable work, changing people’s lives for the better.

Our core values.

Use your brain.

We love AI! And we recognize that it is rotting the brains of marketers everywhere. It is not a replacement for good writing and good thinking.

Get it done and do it right.

The industry has a trust problem. You can grow without fear mongering. You can be different and bold without raising compliance flags.

“Better, better, never best.”

The mantra doesn’t mean you can’t be the best. It means you never think you are. We keep developing our skills because we enjoy honing our craft. There’s always more to learn.

It’s all about trust.

Advisors know this better than anyone. We keep a small client list so we can give each partnership the attention it deserves. We’re selective about who we work with because we want relationships built on mutual respect that last for years. You can count on us to keep you informed, respond when you need us, and explain the thinking behind our decisions.
